Each Sunday, I’ll highlight a great website, either food, exercise, or healthy living related. Please feel free to add your own best loved sites in the comments area, so we can all learn from each other!

Today’s website is:

Farm Fresh Delivery

“Farm Fresh Delivery is an online home delivery service that provides organic produce and natural groceries to its members. We currently serve Indianapolis and the Greater surrounding area. Our service provides an avenue for local artisans and farmers to share their crafts and talents with our community members.”  -taken from homepage

My husband and I recently signed up for FFD, which is a Community Sponsored Agriculture venture here in the Indianapolis and Cincinnati areas. Below are some photos of our most recent delivery of goodies from the farm.

We’ve recieved the most delicious yogurt and cottage cheese from Trader’s Point Creamery, as well as wonderful grass-fed chicken and beef.

CSA is where it’s at friends. If you don’t live in Indy, and want to get on the CSA express to healthy, sustainable eating, here are some resources to check out:

Local Harvest is a national organization that matches people with local farmers, and has great listings on CSA’s.

Sustainable Agriculture Education Association is a national group that has great information on what sustainable agriculture is, why it’s important, and how to get involved.

I hope you enjoy all these great resources on CSA’s, and I’ll be posting more about my boodle arriving each week in the green bin. Have a great Sunday!
